Federal Court Dismisses Discrimination Action brought by Former Cheerleader

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, has dismissed a discrimination action under Title IV and under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, brought by a cheerleader against the varsity squad. The court saw the case as nothing more than a 'disgruntled cheerleader mom' suing because her daugher did not make the cheerleading squad.
