Gordon Carey
Gordon Carey has more than 40 years of experience practicing maritime law. He focuses his career on helping injured seamen and their families to secure just compensation for situations that occur at sea. He is licensed to assist mariners in both Oregon and Seattle. His educational background includes an undergraduate degree from University of Oregon and a Juris Doctor received from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1975. As a member of several legal communities and a speaker on maritime law, Gordon has become a respected attorney in his field. He currently serves as a Proctor member in the Maritime Law Association, and was a member of the Oregon State Bar Continuing Education Legal Committee from 1992-1995. He has contributed as both an author and editor for the Oregon State Bar Publications as well.
