Michael Puterbaugh was an Assistant Prosecutor for Stark County and the City of Canton. He has returned to his roots of criminal law after serving as in-house Corporate Counsel for a corporation and as a Partner in a law firm. He was a Panel Member (CJA) at the Federal Level and an elected official.
Mr. Puterbaugh is also a Certified Agent with the NFL and CFL, as well as the Founder and current Manager of the HOF Player Representatives sports agency (www.hofplayer.com). As an agent and attorney, he has negotiated dozens of player’s contracts, handled the appeals of on and off the field NFL-issued sanctions. He has also negotiated injury settlements and client marketing deals.
Mr. Puterbaugh was the Production Attorney for the full-length feature film, “Underdogs” and he was featured in the documentary film, “Late Rounders.”
Mr. Puterbaugh is Death Penalty Certified (Rule 20, Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio) and was selected for inclusion in National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers* (Criminal Law, Ohio).
