I am a member of Brenner, Saltzman & Wallman's (BSW) Tax Practice Group. My practice focuses on a broad range of business and personal tax issues, from structuring the initial operations of start-up enterprises to advising mature business enterprises on major tax matters. I counsel clients in the area of partnership income taxation and draft complex partnership, joint venture and operating agreements. A substantial part of my practice is devoted to the tax aspects of acquisitions and dispositions of business entities, including taxable and tax-deferred transaction structures. I also design and analyze sophisticated estate planning strategies for individual clients. In addition, I advise and represent clients involved in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services.
I joined BSW in 1983 and became a principal in 1990.
