Jonathan Klurfeld

Mr. Klurfeld began his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Oakland University and his Juris Doctorate degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, Business Law Society, Entertainment & Sports Law Society, and the Jewish Law Students Association.
During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Ronald Dresnick in the 11th Circuit Court in downtown Miami, where he learned the foundation of civil law as well as foreclosure law during the real estate crash in 2009-2010. After his 2nd year of law school, he began interning at a general practice law firm, intricately learning all areas of the law- from real estate to criminal law, family law, intellectual property, civil litigation, and business matters. He took the Florida Bar Exam and was admitted to the Florida Bar becoming an attorney at that firm.
Mr. Klurfeld conducted his first solo jury selection and jury trial in criminal defense for a multiple felony case within 6 months of being licensed practice; obtaining a judgment of acquittal for the client.
He later worked at a premier foreclosure defense firm in Broward County from 2013 until 2015 focusing on real estate, foreclosure defense, condominium association law, landlord/tenant, title/real estate closings for the title company, and business law matters.
Mr. Klurfeld further operated a solo practice of mainly foreclosure defense from November 2012 until December 2016 successfully defending hundreds of foreclosure cases.
