Judge Eric Lipman, a graduate of both Union College and George Washington University’s National Law Center, has held a number of assignments in state government. Judge Lipman previously served as Deputy Secretary of State of Minnesota, as a State Representative from Washington County and as Acting General Counsel to Governor Tim Pawlenty. He currently serves as an Administrative Law Judge with the Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings. When he is not on the bench, Judge Lipman enjoys writing about developments in the case law at his blog, Within the Scope: www.withinthescope.blogspot.com
