Robert Leonard

Robert D. Leonard II practices exclusively criminal defense with a strong emphasis on DUI defense. DUI cases make up about 75% of his practice with the rest of his time being devoted to a selected few serious felonies. Mr. Leonard is a member of the following organizations * National College for DUI Defense * Georgia D.O.D.D. (Defense of Drinking Drivers) * Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers * National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers * Cobb County Bar Association (Past President of the Criminal Defense Section) * State Bar of Georgia (Member of the Criminal Defense Section) Mr. Leonard was the recipient of the 2005 Ross Adams Award given out by the Cobb County Bar Association. He is a past president of the Criminal Defense Section of the Cobb Bar. He is the author of the Georgia Criminal Law Blog and the Georgia DUI Blog. Mr. Leonard has also lectured at criminal law meetings and at the Lunchtime Lecture Series in Marietta. Mr. Leonard holds two degrees from the University of Kentucky, where he attended both undergraduate and law school.
