Criminal attorney Will Hanlon grew up in the Tampa, FL area and has been practicing criminal law for 25 years. Will has tried well over 50 jury trials and even more non-jury trials. He learned early on that hard work and investigation lead to powerful results in criminal defense. When someone gets arrested or becomes the subject of a criminal investigation, their first thought is, "What is going to happen to me"? As a consequence, the only focus in criminal defense must be on your client's future and what steps can be taken to create the very best result. Sometimes that is convincing a detective to shut down his investigation or convincing a prosecutor to drop the charges. Each client's case involves a different set of facts that require an individualized defense. Once we decide what that defense is going to be we begin the work necessary to create the desired result. We never accept an offer from the prosecution when the facts demand a dismissal. Like the client's we represent, every prosecutor and judge is different. 25 years defending the accused has taught me how to handle the different dynamics present in so many courtrooms. I have also learned that the relationships you build with prosecutors and judges can also lead to very powerful results. Your credibility with the prosecution and the Court is invaluable.
