I practice in the Complex Litigation team with the San Diego personal injury attorneys and San Diego car accident lawyers at Gomez Trial Attorneys Injury Accident Lawyers, including mass torts litigation against pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers. Currently, I'm involved in several cases including Taxotere®/docetaxel chemotherapy litigation, where I serve on several plaintiffs’ leadership committees. As part of my work in the Taxotere®/docetaxel litigation, I've successfully argued and won a key motion for summary judgment, preserving our client’s case and setting an important precedent for other related cases. I also work on the Firm’s National Football League (NFL) settlement cases and have previously litigated cases involving fluoroquinolones (Levaquin, Cipro, and Avelox), Fitbit, Granuflo, and other related matters.

I assist clients suffering from car accidentstruck accidentsmotorcycle accidentspedestrian accidentsbrain injuriessexual assaultchild sexual assaultdefective products, and wrongful death.

I was born and raised in Southern California and graduated with a BA from UC San Diego with honors from the Order of Omega, majoring in Human Development. Upon graduation, I pursued my legal career, working as a volunteer intern in the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Division. I then went on to law school at California Western School of Law where I received an Academic Merit Scholarship. While at California Western, I developed a passion for alternative dispute resolution and served as a student mediator at Juvenile Hall and Small Claims Court. I earned academic achievement awards for both my Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution classes and I was consistently on the Dean’s Honor List. Additionally, I served as Associate Editor of California Western’s Law Review. I received my Juris Doctor in 2007, graduating magna cum laude in the top 9 percent of my class.

Prior to joining Gomez Trial Attorneys, I worked as a volunteer attorney for the San Diego Family Justice Center Foundation. I worked in the Foundation’s legal clinic, assisting victims of domestic violence to obtain temporary and permanent restraining orders against their alleged abusers. I am a member of the American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, San Diego Bar Association, and Lawyers Club of San Diego.

I am dedicated to charities close to my heart including the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen, and Genesis Diez Ministries’ orphanage in Baja California. I serve as a member at San Diego non-profit organizations. More than anything, I love to spend time enjoying San Diego with my two beautiful daughters, husband, and family.
