Ms. Bissontz graduated as a registered nurse in 1996 and subsequently obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2011 from LaRoche College in Pittsburgh, PA. She obtained her certification in life care planning from Capital University Law School in 2015 and certification in Medicare Set Aside Allocations from FIG Services in 2017.
In addition, Ms. Bissontz has over 15 years of experience with medical and workers' compensation case management. She is highly experienced in many types of orthopedic and work injuries.
As a life care planner(CLCP), Ms. Bissontz produces expert reports and can provide cost of future medical needs in the areas of:

As a Medicare Set Aside Allocator (MSCC), Ms. Bissontz can develop a Medicare Set Aside arrangement in which funds are allocated from a portion of a workers' compensation, liability, or no-fault settlement, to pay for future medical expenses related to a workers' compensation injury, illness, or disease, or the injury, illness or disease arising out of the accident or incident that gave rise to the liability or no fault claim.
Ms. Bissontz also has experience in Legal Nurse Consulting in which she has worked with both plaintiff and defense counsel, utilizing her nursing education, skills and experience, as well as specialized training as a legal nurse consultant to analyze a case for merit. She fulfills a valuable role in converging the dynamics of the legal process, healthcare, and medical issues to focus on client outcomes.
