After receiving a B.A. with High Honors from Davidson College in 2001, attorney Melody Lankford earned her J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law in 2004. She was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year. Ms. Lankford worked for the Raydon Corporation in Port Orange from 2004 through 2012. She joined Raydon Corporation as in-house counsel, moved into a business role where she drafted the corporate business plan, and then managed employee relations issues for Raydon Corporation’s human resources department. She founded the Lankford Law Firm in Daytona Beach in 2012, and she now advises and represents business owners in the Daytona area and across the State of Florida. She is a member of the Volusia County Bar Association, the Preferred Business Group, and the Tiger Bay Club.
