With over 30 years as a vocational consultant and expert witness I have a broad base of experience and knowledge to include severe and catastrophic injuries and potential vocational options and accommodations, testimony in cases related to Employment Law, Family Law, Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation and Social Security. I continue to work as a counselor at Merritt College in the Disability Services Program and teach a class in Career and Life Planning which helps individuals learn about themselves, the world of work and how to best fit in there. Feel free to look at my blog on the class. As a counselor I am responsible for Student Accommodations under Title V.
My background includes a Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Assumption College in Worcester, MA; a Master's Degree in Sociology from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA; a Post Master's Certificate through an NIMH Grant at Boston University in Psychiatric Rehabilitation; and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (And almost French) from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Although a native of Philadelphia, PA, I spent 10 years in Cambridge, Massachusetts before moving to Berkeley California in 1980.
