Karen Forner

Karen Galipeau Forner is founder of K-Solutions Law in Bellevue, WA. Karen represents employers in the areas of employment law, workplace safety, workers compensation, and administrative appeals.  She is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education seminars and to employer groups.

 

Prior to K-Solutions Law, Karen worked as Senior Attorney at AMS LAW in Seattle for 2 ½ years doing similar work.  From 1993 – 2007 Karen worked at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. She was the Program Advisor for the Industrial Insurance and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA) Discrimination Programs for over ten years and was the Program Advisor for the Workers Compensation Self Insurance Program. Karen also litigated complex WISHA, Industrial Insurance, Third Party and Crime Victims Compensation Act cases. 

 

In 1987, Karen received her Baccalaureate degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1991 from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was also an Associate Editor for the Washington Law Review. 

 

Karen is committed to the community. She has served on the Boards of Directors of EarthShare of Washington, Sound Mental Health and the Washington State Bar Association’s Committee for Diversity and serves on the Board of Eastside Domestic Violence Program.
