Mr. Nilson is experienced in the fields of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, and financing.  His real estate practice also includes litigation relating to boundary disputes, landlord-tenant issues, and title claims by adverse possession.  Mr. Nilson is also experienced with oil and gas leasing matters.

A significant portion of Attorney Nilson's practice is also dedicated to estate matters, including estate settlement and probate, estate planning, trust formation and administration, guardianship, and adoption, including the involuntary termination of parental rights and step-parent adoptions.  His probate practice includes estate related litigation, such as will contests, and matters relating to misuse of funds held by trustees, guardians, and other fiduciaries.
