Christie Lyman Dowling

Christie Lyman Dowling is an attorney and mediator with more than a decade of experience, most recently as a partner in one of the largest law firms in Alabama. She earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University and earned her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. Caring and compassionate with the experience to handle even the most complex family and financial issues.

She is specially trained and registered as a domestic relations mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution, which was established by the Alabama Supreme Court, she is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Also a member of the Alabama State Bar, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Sections, the Birmingham Bar Association and the Birmingham Women's Exchange. Ms. Lyman Dowling is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Alabama, Georgia and Virginia.
