Regarding immigration law matters, Mr. Schewe regularly counsels clients facing the threat of deportation by helping them pursue a wide range of relief, including inadmissibility waivers, adjustments of status from within the United States, consular and domestic visa processing, cancellation of removal, and asylum, among other defenses.  Mr. Schewe also has experience in employment litigation, especially in the area of discrimination and harassment under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and New Jersey's Law Against Discrimination.  He has worked on cases involving age, disability or perceived disability, gender (including pregnancy), national origin, sexual orientation, race, and religious discrimination, among others.  Mr. Schewe is sensitive to the needs of clients suffering from unfair treatment in the workplace, and can help clients to determine whether the treatment they are being subjected to, including termination, was wrongful.
